Saxophonist Alexej Malakhau was born and raised in Minsk (Belarus). He graduated Minsk College of Music and Hochschule f?r Musik K?ln (Germany). Since 2003 he lives and is engaged in creativity in Germany. Alexej performed with such prominent musicians and collectives as: Kenny Wheeler, Diana Torto, John Taylor, Triosence, First Skyfloor, Bodek Janke, Matthias Schrifl, Olivia Trummer, German National Youth Jazz orchestra (BuJazzo) and others. He participated in various Jazz Festivals in Europe, among them: Cologne Jazz Night, Leverkusener Jazztage, Jazz Meeting in Frauenfeld Generations and many more.
