Alex is a classical educated flutist and flute teacher. She came across jazz improvisation many years ago, when she was searching for something special - something not many flutists are doing. Although she still likes playing classical works, she’s really fascinated about the challenges of improvisation, so after finishing her classical studies she started to study jazz flute seriously and recently she finished it. In October 2013 Alex was among the successful participants of an Austrian young improvisers contest and now she is playing with fellow musicians in the area she’s living.
