Christin studied jazz drums in Hanover (Germany) and Groningen (the Netherlands) with Heinz Lichius, Steve Altenberg and Prof. Ralph Peterson. Currently she lives in Los Angeles to finish her Master degree in Jazz drums at "Thornton School Of Music" University Of Southern California where she studies with Aaron Serfaty, Ngudu Chancler and her main teacher Prof. Peter Erskine. Christin has played on several national and international festivals (Big Band Festival Imatra, Finland, Jazzfestival Grahamstown, South Africa, ...). She played concerts in Europe, South Africa, the United States and recorded a couple of albums with one of the best German youth big bands ("Ellington And More" feat. Prof. Jiggs Whigham, 2011) and her own band "Grenzbereiche", released 2012 (Schoener Hoeren Records). Christin had lessons and Masterclasses with Matt Wilson, Jeff Hamilton, Jeff Ballard and Keith Carlock. In summer 2014, she will play a tour in the United States with the Youth Jazz Orchestra Brandenburg and Prof. Jiggs Whigham.
