Felix studied his Bachelor of jazz trombone in Rotterdam, Netherlands with world famous trombonists Bart van Lier, Ilja Reijngoud and Brandt Attema. Currently he studies master jazz degree at the conservatory of Groningen, the Netherlands. The program is called "NYC Jazz". That means every week they have teachers from the USA coming there to teach them, like Don Braden, Alex Sipiagin, Gene Jackson, Robin Eubanks, Freddie Bryant, JD Walter and others. As part of the program Felix is going to move to New York City in August to study there for 6 months. He plays mostly jazz and jazz related music. Felix has played concerts in China, the USA, South Korea, Hungary, Italy, Poland, France, Finland, Austria, Belgium and of course Netherlands and Germany. He participated in many festivals like the "Essentially Ellington" in Philladelphia, USA,JeJu-Do "International Wind Ensemble Festival", South Korea, "Sound City", Germany, "Gaume Jazz Festival" in Belgium and others. He has played with some famous performers: Wayne Bergeron, Jiggs Whigham, Bart van Lier, Erik van Lier, Don Braden, Klaus Heidenreich, Gary Winters.
This year Felix is going to record his ninth CD as a sideman.
