Kristina Trezune is a jazz singer, arranger and composer from Latvia. Currently she is studying with American jazz singer and piano player Dena DeRose and trumpet player Stjepko Gut at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Austria. The musical life started at the age of 5 as a classical piano player, at the age of 15 she started the studies at Riga Dome Choir school, jazz department as a jazz singer with Inga Berzina. In 2012 she participated in IASJ Jazz Meeting Graz. Kristina has participated in several workshops including: Benny Golson, Billy Hart, Joseph Bowie, Sanni Oramsmaa, Jacobien Vlasman and many others. This year Kristina won the MM Music Award in MM Jazz Festival as the Best Singer 2013. Right now she is looking forward for the new opportunities in musical life.
