Born in La Orotava (Canary Islands, Spain) in 1988. Currently studying MASTER IN JAZZ MUSIC at CvA (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) with Ruud Breuls and Jan Oosthof after finishing the specialty of Jazz Trumpet MUSIKENE (Center for Advanced Musical Studies of the Basque Country) with trumpeter Chris Kase. He has also received classes of Perico Sambeat, Bob Sands, Miguel Blanco, Roger Mas, Francesc Capella, Joaquin Chacon, Javier Juanco and masterclass with Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Terrell Strafford, Till Br?nner, Jerry Bergonzi, Polo Orti, Javier Colina, David Pastor and others. He leads his own quartet and the latin jazz nonet 'La Banda del Solar', groups for which he composes and arranger. Forms part of the 'Big Band de Canarias' in which he played with Dick Oatts, Kike Perdomo, Yul Ballesteros, Jose A. Medina, Ramon Diaz, etc. He has participated in festivals like Heineken Jazzaldia of Donostia-San Sebastian, Ezcaray Jazz Festival, Lugo Jazz Festival, Canarias Jazz&M?s Festival, Canarias Jazz Showroom, Jazz Festival Bonn (Germany), etc. On the field of latin music has been a member of the Orchestra Caracas 'Latin Brothers' and MG Son Iy?. With these two formations has also accompanied artists such as Tito Nieves, Edwin Rivera, Tony Tun Tun, Tony Vega, Charlie Cruz, Servando y Florentino, Real El Canario, etc.. and performed at festivals such as International Salsa Congress of Atlantic, Merengazo, Carnival of S/c de Tenerife, etc. He has also worked with Maquinaria Band, Sabrosa Orchestra and one of the most recognized tradicional cuban music bands in the Canary Islands: Troveros de Asieta. As composer & arranger, he has worked with North Atlantic Jazz Connection, La Banda del Solar, La Big Band de Canarias, Re Big Band, Musikene Big Band, Sedajazz Latin Ensemble, The Clave Brothers Latin Band, Guagua&co Latin Ensemble, Tom?s LP Cruz "Projecto Brasileiro" and many others.
