Veronika is a jazz singer and composer of a young jazz generation in Lithuania. Since 2008 she is an active member of Lithuanian Jazz scene. 2013 Veronika graduated Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre where she finished music performance (vocals) and music pedagogy master studies. She also studied in F. Liszt High Music School in Weimar, Germany (with Jeff Cascaro and Michael Schiefel).
She attended numerous master classes including workshops with Bobby McFerrin, David Berkman, Victor Wooten, Alex Sipiagin.
Veronika is known both for her nice and flexible voice and ability to improvise on a high level. She is a laureate of several international jazz competitions: Jazz fountain, Jazz Voices, Riga Jazz Stage, Nomme Jazz, Vilnius Jazz Young Power. 2012 she was also invited to represent Lithuania in the international “Traveling Youth Orchestra” (France) project and had a tour in Europe with it. In 2013 Veronika took part in international educational project “Nomazz meets Baltics”.
With her group “Veronika ChiChi Quartet” as well as retro-jazz group “The Ditties” and other projects she is gaining her experience, singing in jazz clubs and international festivals such as Vilnius Mama Jazz, Birstonas Jazz, Vilnius Jazz, Rigas Svetki.
