Anrey Pletnev is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, one of the organizers and a conductor of jazz jam-sessions in the Yekaterinburg “EverJazz” club, the leader of Anrey Pletnev’s quintet, the conductor of the Afro-Cuban music orchestra “Muchachos Band”, the leader of the project “Old School”, which performs jazz music of 50-60th, the soloist of the big band of Yekaterinburg theatre of mainstream music.
He has graduated from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. He worked in the Sergey Zhilin orchestra “Phonograph” in 2005-2009. With his quartet Andrey Pletnev became the winner of the prestigious jazz festival “Usadba.Jazz” in 2012.
