He studied double bass at the Music Conservatory of Seville and at the Academy of Orchestral Studies of the Barenboim-Said Foundation, with Manfred Pernutz, principal double bass of the Staatskapelle, Berlin.
At the same time he started studying and playing jazz music. He studied at workshops with musicians like Ray Drummond, Ben Street, Jerry Bergonzi, Barry Harris, Dave Santoro, Dave Phillips or Perico Sambeat.
In 2007 he moved to Madrid and nowadays he is one of the most active jazz bass players in the South of Spain. He plays in many different bands, including other styles like flamenco and Arabic music.
He has toured Spain, Portugal, Morocco and United Kingdom.
