Born on July 12, 1966, Havana, Cuba. Graduated from Amadeo Roldan Conservatory in 1985.
He has worked with different Cuban groups like Emiliano Salvador & Quintet, Bobby Carcass?s & Afrojazz, Grupo “Afrocuba", and Alexis Bosch & Proyecto Jazz Cubano among others.
He has shared the stage with artists like: Luis Salinas, Guillermo Vadala and Daniel Masa, with the Philharmonic orchestra of Uruguay, Rub?n Rada, Ronnie Scott, Tim Well, Carlos Santana ,Tito Puente, Rosa Pasos, Bonnie Raitt, Woody Harrelson, Brenda Boykin, Miguel Zen?n , Arturo O’Farrill , Wynton Marsalis and others.
He has taken part in more than 20 CD productions. He has taught and offered workshops in different parts of the world.
At present he is a teacher of the National Art school (ENA) and Amadeo Roldan Conservatory.
